I have some odds and ends that I use to make my click tracks and do some other music ministry things. I’m just gonna share what I use and then what I might recommend instead… recommendations will be [in these bracket things].
Project Studio
This is where I make my clicktracks… I actually did Freedom Declaration with this stuff too.
- iMac – 20-inch – 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo - great computer… [but I'd like a MacPro]
- Westinghouse 22′ Monitor – LCM-22w3 – this guy helps me see more at once… it’s hooked up to the iMac
- Western Digital My Book Studio – External Hard Drive [I have a 500gb - but I need something bigger - get a tb or bigger!]
- PreSonus FireStudio Project [I want to upgrade to the FireStudio 2626]
- M-Audio Axiom 49
- Shure Beta 87A – I use this to record helper tracks
- Rode NT1-A – I use this for BGVs
- Behringer TRUTH B2031A Active Monitors [I think I'd rather use these Mackies]
- Logic Studio
- Reason 4.0
- Stylus RMX
- Phillips Computer Speakers - I know this is strange to see… but we do a good deal of other people’s music so I like to keep iTunes open – it’s best to nor use your computer audio and recording audio together. These speakers are my favorites… I’ve turned bunches of people onto them. $30 – c’mon!
