Copyright… I hear the word and I’m already confused. 

My Music Pastor has a way of challenging me without even knowing he’s doing it. The other day we were talking about copyright stuff and I came to find out that he gets licenses for everything he does. Part CDs, click tracks, charts… all of it. Who does that? 

Now if you’re like me you’re thinking, “I’ve never bought a license for materials and I don’t need too.” But the reality is that not complying with copyright law is illegal and simply wrong.

Now that you’re thinking, “I need to comply!” there is still an issue. That’s the inabilty to understand it all and the time that it takes to get all of the licenses. By the time I could make clicktracks, part CDs, charts and get the licenses, that song would out and I would need a new one. UGH!
