Favorite Things – Strap Locks

I’ve been a Bassist for almost 15 years now, and one of my most valuable tools is Strap Locks. I do not want my Bass hitting the ground.

I have used two kinds of strap locks over the past decade… and here they are.

Schaller Guitar Strap Locks and Buttons

These are great. They “hang” in place. I suggest these for you guys who like your instrument to hang low.

Dunlop Dual-Design Straplok System

These are my favorites. The actually lock inside the normal strap holder. I think it’s a super classy looking unit. Because I play higher (towards my chest) I feel very comfortable with these, verses the Schaller system.
