More with Less

There are two accounts in the Gospel of Matthew where Jesus feeds the multitude. In Matthew 14, He feed 5,000. Over in Matthew 15, He feeds 4,000.

An interesting fact is that when feeding the 4,000 Jesus used Seven loaves of bread and a few (more than two) small fish… but when feeding the 5,000 He used LESS, using only five loaves and two fish.

At this point, we’re probably all familiar with the book Simple Church (which I highly recommend).

But again, in the scripture we see how Jesus is able to touch more people using less stuff.

Let me encourage you, don’t make more stuff for people to sort through before they find Jesus.

Make it simple, easy to understand and somewhat attractive.

Blessings!
