Psalm 12:5 ”Because of the devastation of the afflicted, because of the groaning of the needy, Now I will arise,” says the LORD; “I will set him in the safety for which he longs.”

What a wonderful promise!

My wife and I… as well as many of you… come from what many would call devastating circumstances. I don’t say this to draw attention, but to affirm the psalmist! God offers safety to those who have been afflicted.

No matter what you’re going through today, God is able to bring you through. The key to receiving anything from God is to receive it. Stop multiplying your disfunction. Simply receive what God has intended for you… if things don’t change today then they’ll change tomorrow… or the next day… or the next. Simply HOLD ON to the promise and walk it out.

There are things in my past (my devastation) that at times would paralyze me with fear, worry and doubt… but not they are a vague memory. God is going to bring you through… just LET Him.
