Things I Did Not Know

Job 42:3 ’Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’ “Therefore I have declared that which I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.”

Have you ever just start spouting off at the mouth towards someone (or even God) about something you don’t understand or have all the facts about?

How ofter are we eager to hear ourselves talk to the point of spewing judgment, condemnation or just plain dangerous advice.

Today, I’d like us to slow down, think BEFORE we speak and then stop ourselves from speaking when we shouldn’t.

And IF you start spitting out the first thing that comes to mind… let’s follow the example of Job and apologize… saying, “I have declared something that I didn’t understand.”

Let’s keep growing together.

Blessings!

Sometimes it good to be tongue tied!! Look forward to hearing the
results of your testing. See ya Thursday. Good stuff Jason. I tried to come up with an acrostic for tongue but need some extra time to ponder on it.
