For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
(2 Corinthians 5:21 ESV)
This is such an important passage of scripture. I like to rephrase it’s cadence like this…
“Committing no sin, Jesus became sin…
So that we committing no righteousness, would become righteous.”
I am reminded today that Jesus has taken all the sin, shame, condemnation and wrath so we can take all the reward, blessing, love, acceptance and righteousness.
And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption,
(1 Corinthians 1:30 ESV)
Refuse condemnation today… because there is none left for the believer.
