I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling; likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works.
(1 Timothy 2:8-10 ESV)
It is impossible for the grace of God to be planted on the inside of us and not produce fruit. Granted, it will not produce perfection… it will produce some form of good works. These good works do not manifest of themselves, but come from the goodness of God working in our life.
All too often, we try to be something we’re not. There is no reason for you to pretend! No, simply produce from the inner working of the Holy Spirit in your life.
You do not have to try to impress others… and through Jesus you’ve already impressed God. So just begin to let the natural flow of repentance take place! The goodness of God is the best producer!
