Very good. It's true that emphasis Has to to be put on the importance of them aiding the cause of Christ rather than our need for them in a specific ministry.

Nope, sorry my friend. But if you look back to my VERY OLD posts, you should find some videos on how to make all this stuff... just a review post here.

If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.

That's right James. We're all imperfect... which is why we need to minister to others and be ministered to! Thanks for jumping in!

I reread you blog Pastor Mayfield and found the questions posed to you dishearting. By posing that question to you is in its self is a sin. For we are all sinners for we are human beings. If no one is without sin then no one would need the church or to ask for forgiveness of our sins. We would therefore be a perfect being and we all know as human beings that this is not true. I dont think it is proper to point to another member or non member of the church and say he or she is a sinner or i am more worthy than another in the eyes of the lord.

Thanks Tony! I will say that you have been a voice that has helped me to remember who I am in Christ... and that pleasing man is an insatiable task.

Y'all go check out Tony's site... he is a major voice in my life.

I've always believed that we seek to please the most those whom we fear the most. The man-pleasing spirit is a symptom of fear. When we know our identity is in Christ, we care not what other's think about us, thus eliminating the source of the man-pleasing spirit!

Sitting here thinking of somthing witty to add - I come up with this.
Sometimes it good to be tongue tied!! Look forward to hearing the
results of your testing. See ya Thursday. Good stuff Jason. I tried to come up with an acrostic for tongue but need some extra time to ponder on it.

One of the benefits to having Jason Mayfield as a friend and mentor is that he instilled these three principles in me before I became a pastor. Starting out in full-time ministry with this mindset has helped me a ton. IT WORKS
